I’m responsible for managing the IT Systems through Business requirements. I design IT solutions, modify, enhance, or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements in order to improve business efficiency and productivity. I actively participate on integration and business intelligence initiatives.

The key objectives of my role are:

• Assist in gathering business requirements.

• Administer and maintain existing information systems.

• Participate in new information

• systems Implementations and integrations

• Contribute towards data management and development

• Develop BI reports and dashboard

• Participate in preliminary data analysis

• Stay abreast of latest system developments, changes, redundancies, or modifications

What are your motivations for enrolling in this program at ESDST?

I want to obtain a Master’s in Business & Operations analysis with Data Science as a support to strengthen my skills and my talents that I have already demonstrated.
With 12 years of experience that I have had with the company, I have been able to develop skills in data analysis and programming. I would like to strengthen myself by continuing my studies in this direction. My aim is to continually contribute to ensuring that my company performs in an efficient manner through sound decision making which is driven by data and facts.

Can you describe your journey highlighting any challenges or obstacles faced, encouragements received, key professional achievements etc?

My professional career has been very rich in experience and learning. There have been times when work took precedence over my personal life and often, I would slack on work and my efforts to learn. And that all changed when I read somewhere that when you want things to change for you, you must change. And you must work a lot more on yourself for that change to happen. From that day, everything changed in my professional life

What are you most passionate about? What have you done in the past or are currently pursuing that gives you a sense of satisfaction of having achieved positive/tangible outcomes in issues that you support?

This internal call that I had for self-development, changed everything in my professional career. I become more productive, I learnt to manage my time, my colleagues and superiors are satisfied with my productivity and my creativity. I regained the passion for work after many years of relaxation.

How do you plan to use the knowledge and skills that you are going to acquire through this course coupled with your professional experiences and achievements for the betterment of the society at large?

This training has the following benefits:
