What are your motivations for enrolling in this program at ESDST?

Get more knowledge into cutting edge technologies in my field and how to apply them.

Can you describe your journey highlighting any challenges or obstacles faced, encouragements received, key professional achievements etc?

I spend many years finding out what I wanted to do. So I did an apprenticeship in scientific laboratory, studied biomedical engineering, worked in medical laboratories, did data analysis, worked full-time as design engineer and am now employed as software developer. Each stage had up- and downsides and was really fun. Now I found an area I can imagine to stay for a longer period of time.

What are you most passionate about? What have you done in the past or are currently pursuing that gives you a sense of satisfaction of having achieved positive/tangible outcomes in issues that you support?

I am most passionate about working in a field that requires knowledge in different topics. The requirements change every single day and also what I have to know and learn changes with every new task. I am good in having the overview in a project with a bigger scope. This is seen and makes me therefore quite happy.

How do you plan to use the knowledge and skills that you are going to acquire through this course coupled with your professional experiences and achievements for the betterment of the society at large?

Intelligent software is coming into industry step by step. Robotics is an emerging field in the world and artificial intelligence will be a big part of it. With my skills I want to help my company, which is in an early phase right now, to build a base in that direction.
