ESDST Ethical Behavior

ESDST students, faculty and staff form part of a larger community and is expected to maintain academic and ethical honor code, following which the student can become a responsible citizen to work and live with high personal and professional integrity. 

The ESDST ethical code includes:

  • A student should not complete any academic submission or examination using unfair, dishonest means or cheating or using any other inappropriate practices.
  • A student should always act respectfully and professionally with every stakeholder of the business.
  • A student should be honest, trustworthy and truthful at all times.
  • A student is expected to be acting responsibly and take responsibility of their personal behaviour.
  • A student, in no circumstance, allow any other person access to the content of the institute, and is expected to keep all material of the institute confidential. 

ESDST policy on harassment and discrimination

ESDST pledges to uphold dignity of every stakeholder and to respect human rights of all individuals. 

ESDST ensures equal gender inequality for both male and female and not avoid any kind of pre-assumed differences. The institute strictly prohibits any preference based upon caste, creed, language, origin, sex, parentage, faith, religious, political opinion. Especial emphasis is taken in content preparation and delivery to include disabled persons. 

ESDST upholds equal treatment for all employed staff and faculty. It aims to provide equal working conditions, and provide professional advancement to only deserving candidate, not terminating anyone for undue reasons. 

Unjustified discrimination for vocational training, mentoring, extra-curricular activities, or any learning activity is completely prohibited.

Any stakeholder of ESDST community who is found to be in violation of the code of ethics specified by the institute and/ or applicable local laws can be subject to disciplinary action. The action can include immediate termination of employment, suspension from the program of study and elimination from the institute’s premises.
