Dr. André Lienhard

Prof. Dr. André Lienhard MBA

Professor at the Faculty of Business and Management Analytics in the Department of Crisis Management

Prof. Dr. André Lienhard MBA, an expert in crisis management. He specializes in business and management analytics.
Through his international activities, he has gained knowledge like no other. His willingness and activity in the military peace mission also testify to his unshakable belief / conviction that even major crises can be mastered. Special recognition goes to his presidency of the “German Association of Knights of the International Order of Constantine (OCM) e.V.”

Prof. Lienhard supports our university with his knowledge, he is a personal asset to our institute.

Prof. Dr. Nike Schröder

Professor at ESDST in Longevity and Hotel Management

Prof. Dr. Nike Schröder started her incredible career at just 13 years old, making waves as Germany’s youngest journalist.

From there, she dived into the world of TV editing and even rubbed elbows with famous artists at Universal Music. Her passion for longevity research took her to the beautiful shores of Sardinia 15 years ago, and since then, she’s been breaking barriers as the only woman in the management team at Forte Village. There, she excels as the Director of Sales & Marketing, New Business, and Special Tasks. Long before resilience and longevity were buzzwords, Nike was already paving the way.

In 2019, she became a biohacking expert and soon after, an epigenetics specialist. When she co-founded the Palazzo Fiuggi Medical Retreat in 2018, she brought her vast knowledge and network to the table, making a significant impact in the field of holistic health and prevention. Prof. Dr. Schröder is a powerhouse in marketing and health, and she shares her wisdom as a business coach and mindset specialist, working with well-known personalities. We are thrilled to have her enrich our university with her profound expertise in life sciences and international hotel management. Her journey is a testament to her dedication, innovation, and unstoppable spirit.

Prof. Dr. Sven Michael Herbert Braje

Prof. Dr. Sven Michael Herbert Braje has over 40 years of international experience in sales, marketing, management consulting and as a personal coach, giving him outstanding, comprehensive and profound expertise in sales and marketing. Over the course of his career, Mr. Braje acquired in-depth skills in the areas of data mining, artificial intelligence and machine learning in order to determine the likelihood of future developments in the markets and to set the course for a secure and more successful future and sustainable, profitable growth for the companies involved.
Through his strategic decisions, process optimization, identification of growth opportunities and his applied knowledge in data science, Mr. Braje supports our university with advanced analyses, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, as well as the theory of disruptive innovation and his distinct, specific expert knowledge

Prof. Dr. Raphael Röttinger

Prof. Dr. Raphael Röttinger is a professor specializing in criminology, cyber security/IT forensics and IT security, as well as leadership in special operational situations. In 2024, he received the Facultas Docendi and Venia Legendi. He is an expert in hybrid and police science, focusing on IT security, video surveillance, and data protection. Since 2011, he has been Managing Director of the internationally active Röttinger group, which operates in safety, security and cyber security. Despite his business roles, he remains active in research and lectures on cybersecurity, crisis management, and the impact of blackouts on IT security. His research also covers hybrid threat defense, security management, and the cooperation between private security, police, and official organizations, with a strong emphasis on video surveillance and cybersecurity. His expertise is supported by international teaching assignments in operational counter-terrorism.

Prof. Dr.med. Sascha Szoltysik is an experienced medical expert in the area of pain. He has a practice in Celle, Germany, and he is a chief physician in a hospital in the department of chronical pain. In addition, he works very close with the pharmaceutical industry for implementation of clinical trials. His professional experience includes various leadership positions as an assistant medical director at the University of Hannover, Basel and Ulm. He enjoys working in teams and in social projects Prof. Dr.med. Szoltysik has more than 10 years experience in teaching and working with students and nurses. His focus lies on: medical science of pain, palliative care, education and
research.

His professional experience includes his fields of teaching and researching: Business Management, high-involvement-product-Marketing, Sales Communication, Sales Analytics and B2C-Communication.

Martin is an experienced international business leader in the Automotive, Chemical, and Industrial sector with 25 years of experience in Europe and Asia-Pacific. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration and an MBA from Southern Cross University, Australia as well as certificates from Stanford University, Wharton school, and Mannheim Business School.
His professional experience includes various leadership positions with BASF, one of the world’s leading chemical companies, as Director, Performance Chemicals (Fuel and Lubricant Solutions), ASEAN based in Singapore, and as Head of Marketing Asia-Pacific, Performance Materials based in Shanghai, as well as Leader for Key Account Management. In 2022 Martin relocated to Switzerland to take the helm as Director, Customer Channels and Sales Excellence with LKQ, the leading distributor of automotive aftermarket parts for cars and industrial vehicles in Europe. Martin started his career in banking, collected experience in start-ups and proved entrepreneurial spirit by founding his own business.
Born and grew up in Europe before then moving to Asia-Pacific, Martin had the opportunity to lead teams in all key countries of the Asia-Pacific region and gained exposure to different cultures, markets, and business environments. He enjoys learning from different cultures in his daily work as well as in his private life.
Martin has more than 10 years of MBA teaching and research experience as Unit Chair with Chifley Business School, Torrens University, and Laureate International Universities and prior to this as Tutor for MBA/CPA students with Southern Cross University.
His focus lies on: Business Management, Marketing, Consumer Acceptance, Innovation Diffusion, Sales & Account Management, and Strategy.

With over 30 years of professional experience, Jan Graevenstein has a solid foundation of experience in the areas of change management, digitalisation and automation of work and business processes. At the age of 24, he moved to Speyer, where he pursued his passion – programming – and worked as a software developer in a software company. At the age of 31, he took over the management of the company, which he developed into the market leader in its segment.

In addition to his professional activities, Jan Graevenstein completed a Master’s degree in communication and industrial psychology as well as behavioural and organisational psychology. His research focused on the introduction of agile leadership principles and change management from a behavioural psychology perspective. His dissertation examines the influence of leadership behaviour in hybrid work environments.

In addition to his professional and academic career, Jan Graevenstein completed further training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and as a systemic organisational consultant. He also lectures and teaches at various universities of applied sciences. In September 2020, Springer Gabler Fachbuchverlag published the fifth edition of the textbook “Erfolgreiche Mitarbeiterführung durch soziale Kompetenz” in which Jan Graevenstein was a co-author.

His key areas of teaching are Business analysis, and Human Resource Analytics.

Hon. Prof. Atil Ural is an experienced and visionary entrepreneur, known for his leading role in business management and development. As CEO and President of the Board of Directors for companies such as business factors International AG, U&W Investment Holding GmbH, business factors Deutschland GmbH, and LeadCon Leaders Contact International GmbH, he has consistently demonstrated his strategic expertise and innovative mindset.
Through his work in product development, particularly the invention of new products and impulses, Mr. Hon. Prof. Ural established his company as a pioneer in the industry. His profound business knowledge and sense for market trends have significantly contributed to the success of business factors International AG.

As the Head of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) office and RPA Team Lead, Arkadiy lead a team of RPA developers and RPA analysts. During his tenure at BluePrism from 2014 to June 2019, he held the position of Senior Processes & Transformation Manager within the Organization & Process Management Division.
His main responsibilities encompassed various aspects of project management and Lean transformations. This involved running IT/non-IT projects, participating in Lean initiatives, and overseeing project planning and reporting. He was actively involved in collecting and estimating ideas, as well as developing and approving business and technical requirements. Additionally, he designed and implemented new processes and revamped existing ones to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve cost reduction goals, utilizing Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, spaghetti diagram, DMAIC techniques, and problem-solving sessions.
Throughout his work, he utilized various tools and methodologies, including Lean, DMAIC, SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle), and BPMS (Business Process Management System). He also integrated VOC (Voice of Customer) and CTQ (Critical to Quality) principles into my practices to ensure a customer-centric approach to process optimization and transformation.

Dr Sakkaravarthi Ramanathan is presently working as Professor in computer science department at Vanier college, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He has been awarded PhD from the University of Rennes in 2009 for designing and developing a dependable Residential gateway (modem that offers Internet, VoIP, IPTV through a single ADSL) to address the failure caused in software, hardware, network and content provider. He has been offered a post-doctoral fellowship from LAAS- CNRS (French National Research Centre), France where his research work has elucidated by developing a Mission-Aware Middleware capable of dispensing a dynamic infrastructure for uninterrupted communication between the Artificial Intelligent systems that are deployed in case of Crisis Management System (CMS). He has been certified as “Specialist in Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System center” by Microsoft Corp. He has more than 35 papers in international journals and conference proceedings to his credit. He has been constantly associated as a member of the Program Committee/Technical Committee/ Chair/ Review Board for a variety of international conferences and active in research by writing, reviewing in international and national publications. Right now, he is focused in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Physical Systems and Autonomous computing.

Premalatha is having 15 years of experience into analytics. She has worked into number of domains such as Education, Healthcare, Retail, Logistics and e-commerce Management. She has worked in product as well as service-based companies. She is currently working as a Principal AI Consultant. In her current role, she is part of professional services that work with Pre-Sales team in client facing, where she understands the requirement of the customer, builds analytics-based solutions and present it to management and customer. Training Expertise She delivers training on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and doubt sessions for students. She also conducts technical interview mock sessions where she interacts with students and evaluate the level of clarity the student has in AIML and identify the areas of improvement.

Laszlo

László Grad-Gyenge, PhDc, MS Mathematics and Computer Science

László is an expert and enthusiast in the field of artificial intelligence. He is active in both the software industry and academia. His passion lies in developing machine learning functionality for software products, while also showing a keen interest in the theoretical underpinnings of the algorithms he employs. With over two decades of leadership experience, he efficiently manages his research team. László believes in nurturing the next generation of machine learning researchers, which is why he lectures on recommender systems at the University Eötvös Loránd and teaches machine learning at Kürt Akadémia.

In terms of career goals, László made a professional decision to delegate the management tasks of his software company, Creo Group, to a colleague. Instead, he embarked on a new venture, founding BSI, an AI company, in 2018. The driving force behind this move was his strong desire to delve deep into the mathematical foundations of cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
Beyond his professional pursuits, László finds enjoyment in various forms of art and spends some of his free time on photography.

Dr. S. Kumar is currently working as a data scientists and trainer at Truneek Technologies. 

He is an alumni of IIT Roorkee where he earned his post-doctoral degree in Operational Research. He has completed his post-graduation in Mathematics. 

He is an avid researcher, trainer and consultant. He worked as a consultant in number of organisations and as a passionate academician, he was associated with many insitutes including IIT Roorkee, NIIT Limited, ISB Mohali amongst many others. He was awarded as ‘Best Academic Associate’ of the year 2015-16 at ISB.

Kosmas has a background in Computer Science, he holds an MSc in Computer Networks from Middlesex University, and MBA in Higher Education Management from the Institute of Education. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Advance HE.

Kosmas has long experience in international and multicultural education delivering lectures seminars and tutorials form many different Educational institutions in the UK, US and other countries.

He is currently a Senior Teaching Fellow / Lecturer – Teaching in the Department of Information Studies at University College London (UCL), an Assistant Professor at HULT International Business School and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster in London.

Kosmas is participating in consultancy and research project through a company that he founded in 2011 (Kosmos Education Services Ltd) where he is operating as Executive Vice President.

G. Krishnamurthy

Krishnamurthy is an alumni of IIT-Kanpur where he completed his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and IIM-Calcutta where he completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). 

Prof. Krishnamurthy has been a researcher, practitioner and a trainer. He worked at NIIT for around 10 years where he contributed in various capacities including consulting, training, and learning software development. He worked on developing learning software and development of network security devices. He also worked in foundation of Computer-Aided Management Centre at IIM-Calcutta. Formerly, he acted as Country Head at Springboard Research. His research areas include Database Management Systems, Securities, Cloud Technologies, and Analytics.

Vincent English PhD

Professor

Vincent is a Professor of International Business and Strategic Management at the Uninettuno University of Rome and is also a visiting professor at two other business schools in Naples and Geneva. Vincent holds a PhD in business strategy and numerous other degrees in Law, Education, Physics, and Data Analytics from the University of Cambridge, Kings College London, Maynooth, Aberdeen, and Dublin. Vincent is also attached to the University of Cambridge as a researcher into adult online learning and is a member of their prestigious CEDiR group. Vincent was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2016. Vincent is currently supervising 4 Doctoral (DBA) students at Uninettuno University.

Vincent is also currently CEO of Vernier Europe, a subsidiary of Vernier Software and Technology, the world’s largest manufacturer of digital data collection technologies for schools. He has extensive experience in international business in many different sectors, including educational materials and equipment, retail, and engineering. Vincent has founded several successful companies and has served as Managing Director of companies in Ireland and the UK for the past 25 years. Vincent has worked at all levels in firms in the SME sector and has extensive experience in marketing, project management, mentoring, international distributor, and sourcing of products.

Vincent currently serves on an influential European Commission ThinkTank for STEM learning across Europe. He has also successfully served on several prominent EU large scale projects charged with increasing inclusion in science education at secondary schools.

Vincent has a passion for continued professional development and bringing learning to as wide a community as possible. He is a sponsor of the Young Scientist of Tanzania competition and was a regular judge at the annual event for several years. He is also an active contributor to the European Commission’s classroom of the future (FutureLab).

Tony Beaven MPhil MA MSc

Anthony is an experienced university lecturer and business practitioner. Having served in middle management roles for organizations in many diverse industries, Anthony has a particular interest in HRM and Project Management. Before becoming an academic, he was involved in the restructuring of several companies prior to their sale and flotation. Anthony is an expert in TQM and has led teams in diverse manufacturing companies from heavy industry to pharmaceuticals.

Tony has MPhil and MA in Education, MA in Human Resource Development with Distinction, and an MSc in Manager and Organisational Development with Commendation.

Flavio Gazzani PhD

Adjunct Professor

Prof Flavio Gazzani is an economist with a special focus on renewable energy, environmental protection, and climate change policy with an aim toward achieving sustainable development. Prof Gazzani received his Ph.D. in Environmental Economics (Murdoch University, Western Australia 2009) and worked as a researcher in environmental management and energy economics at Murdoch University. He has 20 years of academic and consultant experiences as working in environmental and sustainable energy management, both in Australia and Europe, particularly in the following areas: sustainable energy policy and programs, including energy efficiency, demand‑side management, environmental fiscal reform, and applied econometric analysis, renewable energy and abatement of greenhouse gas emissions, government energy policy and planning across all energy forms, water management, and governance.

His research areas are related to econometric models applied to climate change evaluation using Dynamic Integrated Climate Change Model (DICE), Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model for policy analysis and forecasting, estimating energy efficiency using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA), and discrete choice modeling for water and energy demand behavior. During his working experience in Australia, he has developed extensive knowledge of carbon taxation, assessing their greenhouse gas emissions reduction and fiscal impact of a carbon tax on the primary energy sector.

He has served as an expert advisor and consultant on European Commission Energy Roadmap 2050, Government of Western Australia on sustainable water management and market-based instruments to manage chemical fertilizers, United Nation Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) in assessing the economic impact of climate change in Mediterranean region and advisor on environmental fiscal reform for the Italian Government. He was also employed as a senior researcher at the Stockholm Environmental Institute in Estonia, a senior researcher at the University of Rome “Sapienza” in Italy as project team leader on several macroeconomic model development and fiscal reform for government agencies.

Bradley Joblin PhD

Dr. Joblin has a doctorate from the University of Zurich. Having held senior management and scientific leadership roles in clinical research at the headquarters of global pharmaceutical companies and smaller biotech companies, his experience is in clinical study implementation, early and late phase clinical study design and clinical development strategy. Bradley founded his own consulting company providing clinical study and development advice to the clinical research community including biotech companies and medical research institutes. Dr. Joblin provides faculty support for Business Programs with a focus on pharmaceuticals and clinical research sciences.

Adrian Lamb

High-Performance Fitness Coach with 20 years’ experience training athletes at an elite level, including 16 years in professional football in the UK and the USA. Worked at a number of levels of the professional game, including 4 English Premier League clubs and 2 Major League Soccer teams, as well as the English Championship and League 1. Possess a proven track record of enhancing performance in world-class sporting environments inclusive of strength and conditioning, physical outputs, recovery, nutrition, individualized fitness programming, injury prevention, and youth football. Adrian is currently the head fitness coach at the Chinese Football Association. Adrian is a graduate of Northumbria University.  Adrian is regarded as one of the foremost leading strength and conditioning coaches in world football. He has coached some of the biggest names on the world stage and worked with many iconic football coaches in managers in his career. Adrian is renowned for his innovative and groundbreaking approaches to advanced sports performance in football and many other sports.

Marco Alberto Javarone

Dr. Marco Alberto Javarone is a research associate in the Centre for Blockchain Technologies, UCL, London, UK. He lectured at various universities in the past including Coventry University, University of Kent, University of Hertfordshire in the UK, University of Cagliari, University dof Sassari in Italy. 

Marco has been an avid researcher and have received several research grants from – ITMO University, St Petersburg Russia, University of Ghent, Belgium. He has travelled extensively throughout his professional career. 

Marco is an author of the Book “Statistical Physics and Computational Methods for Evolutionary Game Theory” published by Springer. He has authored more than 25 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, has been an organising committee member of many conferences and seminars.
